2021: 4,000 more Fruit Trees Planted in Nepal

Almost 10000 Fruit Trees in 2021
A further 4000 saplings were purchased in Kathmandu in the spring and these will be ready to deliver and plant at the end of November 2021 to reach our target of 10,000 trees. Juniper Trust has now now planted 6,000 since the autumn of 2020, a mixture of Walnut, Pecan, Peach, Plum, Sichuan Pepper, Mandarin and Lapsi. They will generate fruit income for the villagers for up to 10 years as they grow.
With a total budget of $10,000 for 10,000 trees, the cost is just $1 per tree, planted. 80% will cover purchase costs and transportation to the planting sites, 20% will pay for local labour from the communities they will help.
We are still fundraising for the last batch so please support this great cause if you can.
The Juniper Trust is run 100% by Volunteers.
Donate £8 to plant 10 fruit trees or £80 for 100 trees!
