2021: A new Library for Uma Kunda School

As part of our Nepal Quality Schools Project, which supports teacher training, school libraries and essential equipment, Juniper Trust volunteers have just delivered 1,000 books, with shelving and racks, to Uma Kunda School, to create the school’s first ever library – for all ages. This will be shared with the other 4 schools close by who are taking part in the project, 50% of the books are English and 50% in Nepali. The impact on the children’s education will be enormous, we hope to deliver another 1000 books in the autumn of 2022.
