2019: Ayub Khan visits Shadri School in Asumbar

Ayub has just returned from his annual trip to the Juniper Trust School in Asumbar Village, in the remote Ishkoman Region of North West Pakistan. He travelled with his wife and daughter, by jeep and on foot, using a donkey to help carry uniforms, books and school equipment for the children.
Access to the village has been improved slightly due to a new rough road but the journey is still difficult and hazardous with rock fall regularly blocking the road. Heavy snow over the winter has meant that the school roof has had to be replaced and three families have been relocated.
The Juniper Trust raises £2000 per year to pay for the teacher’s salary and training, repairs and uniforms for all the children.
Ayub has given his time freely helping the Juniper Trust and the people of Northern Pakistan for the last 10 years – Thank you Ayub
