2019: Hayley climbs Mt. Meru for Karama

In July 2019 Hayley has been out fundraising for Karama again, this time scaling the second highest mountain in Tanzania; Mt Meru. She really struggled physically and mentally and was close to quitting but after seven hours struggling with the altitude, cold and a bitter and unforgiving wind, she made it to the top knowing that the money raised will go to the beautiful kids at Karama.
Hayley is hoping to raise a further £3000 for the kids at Karama which sits at the foot of Mt Meru. Karama is growing and since Hayley arrived at the start of July, they welcomed two new family members, which included reuniting two sisters. Most of the children at Karama are HIV+ and one boy suffers from cerebral palsy. The money Hayley raises will pay for medical expenses for the next year, covering medicine, operations, therapy, clinic and hospital expenses, medical supplies and transport to and from the hospital.
