Nepal Evergreen has facilitated the planting of 250 almond tree saplings in Bhussinga, an 8-hour drive from Kathmandu. Farmer Dabal Bahadur Basne collected the two-year-old saplings from a nursery in Kathmandu and led the planting effort with assistance from villagers. The newly planted almond trees are expected to yield fruit within two years, contributing to Basne’s vision of a thriving, eco-friendly agricultural enterprise in Nepal.
