Juniper Trust is raising funds for communities devastated by the Nepal floods. Having delivered emergency relief, we are now supporting affected schools and children, while continuing to provide practical help wherever it is needed most.

The Nepal Quality School project aims are to ensure that all children, including marginalised groups, are taught in a friendly supportive environment so that they enjoy coming to school. They acquire skills, knowledge and understanding through careful instruction, demonstration, discussion, and practical activities.

Nepal Evergreen is a volunteer-led initiative dedicated to planting a diverse range of trees and plants across impoverished rural regions of Nepal. By revitalizing natural habitats and supporting community-led afforestation, the project not only enhances local biodiversity but also creates sustainable economic opportunities through community farms, orchards, and private land use. Additionally, it contributes to offsetting carbon emissions, particularly those generated by tourism, helping Nepal build a more resilient and eco-conscious future.

Ascole School in the Karakoram Mountains and Shadri, Thingee, and Asumbar Schools in the Ishkoman Valley are among the most remote educational facilities in Pakistan’s mountainous regions. Despite their geographical separation, these schools serve communities facing significant challenges due to their isolation amidst the rugged landscapes of the Karakoram and Hindu Kush ranges.

Support the Women of Dain – A small women’s vocational centre in remote Ishkoman has already transformed lives—giving women skills, confidence, and an income of their own. After devastating floods destroyed their shop, these women are rebuilding with resilience and determination. We are now raising funds to support further training and to provide equipment where it’s needed, helping the cooperative continue to grow sustainably.

In 2023, the Juniper Trust successfully raised the funds needed to complete its twentieth school rebuilding project in Raja Beni, high above the Kinja Valley. The new classrooms were completed and the school has been a great success. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped us reach this important milestone.
