Our coffee planting initiative is in full swing as the monsoon rains hammer down in Nepal. We’re thrilled to announce the distribution of 15,000 coffee saplings to 140 local farmers in the municipalities of Kispang and Meghang in Nuwakot. The fertile lands and favorable climate of Nuwakot, at the perfect altitude of 1,500 meters, provide an ideal setting for high-quality coffee beans. As local farmers embrace sustainable practices and transition from traditional crops like maize and rice, the coffee industry in Nuwakot has significant growth potential. 🌿🌾
Nepal Evergreen is helping farmers establish small coffee plantations, working with those who have already planted to provide saplings. Our goal is to create the Nepal Evergreen Himalayan Coffee brand to help farmers sell their produce, with each cup of Nuwakot coffee, you can savor rich flavors while supporting local communities and fostering sustainable agriculture in Nepal. 💚🌍
A donation of just $20 will enable 100 coffee saplings to be purchased from local nurseries and distributed for planting.
